PAST PROJECTS
CCoD assisted FlyDog yoga, a local yoga studio and wellness haven that specializes in power vinyasa and mediation, on two key areas—growth initiatives and customer retention.
Our main focus was to identify growth opportunities for both the online platform and the in-person classes, while furthering customer engagement within the FlyDog Community. The growth team focused on organic paths through teacher marketing, while the engagement team identified key metrics and customer values. These findings translated into a new pricing and marketing strategy along with a set of initiatives targeted at improving the customer journey. We want to thank the entire FlyDog yoga team and especially Brad Whiteman (Founder & CEO) for allowing us to assist with FlyDog’s continued growth and prominence in the Charlottesville community.
STEAM Discovery Academy is a year-round source of learning for students centered around all facets of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). A family business founded by Michael Bruscia in 2016, STEAM DA’s mission is to inspire the next generation of STEAM professionals, through engaging and educational opportunities.
CCoD's primary objective was to help STEAM DA and its Executive Director, Lisel Bruscia, assess geographic growth opportunities and recommend a location for expansion. Over the course of the project, we developed a short list of three cities for potential expansion and provided a detailed analysis of the competitive landscape and addressable market in each area, among other criteria. Additionally, our team analyzed the profitability of the organization separated by its products, creating a dynamic financial model that can be applied both in Charlottesville and future STEAM DA locations. We enjoyed the opportunity to work with such an impactful local organization and are excited to hear about STEAM DA’s future successes!
CCoD worked with Pears Health Americas on their new Thermeeno smart thermometer, which provides continuous temperature monitoring via an underarm axillary thermometer with a paired mobile application for tracking. Pears Health brought in CCoD for assistance on assessing the US market, potential partnerships and crowdfunding platforms, and required FDA approval.
We performed a variety of analyses including a market survey; competitor analysis; market positioning analysis; partnership analyses for licensing, retail, and clinical partners; FDA approval analysis; historical crowdsourcing data for medical devices; and feedback on the company’s current business plan and related financial projections. Through these work efforts, we identified that the infant and toddler market within the consumer segment serves as the company’s most promising initial market positioning when entering the US market. We want to thank the members of Pears Health Americas for their continued support throughout the project and for allowing us to work with them throughout the spring!
